My muses have come about lately. Enjoy their creativity. ^^

Starlight

Whose stars have been sown into your nighttime lovely eyes?
They embrace and swirl of the vertigo of the universes colliding
In the dust of forever lost to man
The spokes of stars have lighted in fairy perches
In the very spheres you see me by
And heighten the glow of your deep
And wondering, wandering eyes
The gaze flecked in silver mica,
Holding that far off horizon so very still
So I can come running right across the world
To pluck those star shards, set them into a necklace
Round your judging eye
For the smearing stars have praised themselves
Into only one set of glory-bound watchers
Who see me sit here, all anxious and insecure
In that very glare of some godless traveler
Who plays the flute and glides on the air
Upon the back of a swimming stallion
Drawn in the starshine, the moonshine in liquid torrents
Pours into a cape of lucid white and grey
The silver etching the seams
And displaying a fantastic contrast
Of your dark and unreadable face
To such a lighted will and spirit
As you stare so deep into me
And in watching, have smiled
Laughing eyes twinkle into the depths of future and past
To kiss my temple and sweetly speak:
“Praises of heavens only sing for me a little while,
But I cannot speak the heart of stars
If the stars speak the tongue
Of your celestial affection
You are the forever
And I the memory.”
